It really doesn't matter what the product category is, it seems quality control no longer exists. My father has a drill he bought in the 70s he still uses to this day, while a brand new power tool I purchased in 2009 has already given out. Media in general are no different. Before Netflix and Hulu and HBO Go, we bought a lot of DVD in our household, and we've seen it all. My Band of Brother chinese bootleg had better packaging than what I had bought in Europe, and the one from Europe was an "official" release. Dropping 200$ on DVD appears crazy in this day and age, and when I ordered them, I wasn't sure I would regret it. Fear not: there was no regret in sight, and hasn't been since we got it. My better half plunged into them and binge watched three seasons in a week-end. What a Sailor Moon junkie. Then we binge watched season 4 and 5. We're keeping the movies for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The Good: -Crisp video and audio, really surprising given Sailor Moon's old age -Fantastic packaging. The DVD cases are really high quality, I wish more studios used those tray mechanisms. -The disc arts are clean and vibrant -Inserts! I missed you inserts, you that was everywhere in the 90s and disappeared from so many releases in the 21st century. I like inserts. It makes the collection more complete. The Bad: -None whatsoever. Either save up prime points or save up some dough. If you ever cared about collecting Sailor Moon episodes, it's a great time to get them all. When this item FINALLY came in the mail, I was ready to explode due to over-excitement! I have always loved Sailor Moon as a kid, so to finally have the ENTIRE series (including the movies) on DVD, is just the icing on the cake for me! The seller was right about everything looking exactly as shown on amazon. The DVD cases were very accurate and everything was there. I watched a bit of season three today and I am getting hooked all over again! The quality is amazing and the little menus are so cute! Hehe what is most amazing of all though, is the fact that you get BOTH versions of the series! That's right, I get to watch it in English AND Japanese! So that's like a huge bonus right there. This truly was the best birthday present I have ever gotten. I am still surprised that I was able to convince my mom to buy this for me for my 19th birthday! Best birthday present ever! XD If you love Sailor Moon as much as I do...what are you waiting for? GO BUY THIS NOW!!!! XD I received my product a few days after I made the order, which is way more than I can expect from most other vendors around here, and especially with such a valuable product. Not to mention the fact that the product was delivered in the exact condition I'd hoped for: Clean, functional, and complete with everything I'd hoped to receive. The person selling these products really knows how to conduct business. As for the product itself, it's Sailor Moon. What more can I say? It took me right back to my childhood experiences when watching the show. I still cried, I still laughed, I still had a blast watching the novelty, the nostalgia and most importantly, the show I adored so much. If you're looking for a few DVD's that bring you right back to those good old days in the 90's where you just hung out and watched cartoons/anime like this one, then this is most definitely a great investment for you. Fair warning to the hardcore collector's though: It's not HD, it's not 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound, and it's not shiny or glossy. It's exactly as it was the first time it was aired. Take it in as such. I live in Florida and I wanted to find all the Sailor Moon episodes. I looked on the America Amazon they didn't have it there but then I saw it on Canada Amazon and I found it. I was SO exicited! The only thing was negative was I wanted 3 weeks for me to get it... I had the idea that I could get it in 3 days, maybe I misread something. The quality is good, I still will always love the Sailor Moon Series. Sailor Moon Says buy it! ;) lol
