Irina Shayk has another Vogue cover under her belt. In case you’ve stopped counting, it’s her fifth total since her Vogue debut last November. She has covered Vogue Spain three separate times alone. Her last appearance was just three months ago, when she shared the cover with her boyfriend, soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Even if she’s not the most surprising or refreshing cover model choice, the majority of our forum members enjoyed this cover, which was shot by Paola Kudacki. A lot of them shared conflicted feelings, though. “Best September cover so far this year,” wrote Bruce7Lee. But he also added, “The styling is awful though.” TaylorBinque liked the cover, but had issues with Irina’s face. “Part of me is like ‘oh this is very nice.’ But the other one says ‘Amm, something is wrong with this cover. Maybe her face [or] something.’ I think it’s a nice cover trying to achieve that iconic wow factor but maybe it’s her expression that’s not working,” he posted. No complaints came from Oxymore. “Even if I don’t like when a model is on the cover of the same magazine several times the same year, I like this cover. I think it’s chic, the colors are great, the ‘G’ is nice. It’s probably the best September cover so far. Irina is doing it great this year!” she declared. “It’s a pretty good cover but I still don’t understand why they’re putting her on the cover yet again when they have so many better options out there (and yea, I know, it’s because of her bf),” admitted lelaid. Irina might be scoring all these covers because of her famous boyfriend, but she might also just be a popular choice because she’s a total babe who photographs well.
